Who gives a fuck?
But who knows? Maybe decades from now, vital information will come to the forefront and we'll finally understand exactly what happened on Nov. 22, 1963 and on Sept. 11, 2001. In the meantime, sentient beings will wonder why pertinent facts remain hidden, and will continue to dismiss lame explanations like the magic bullet theory and "they hate us for our freedoms." Because no matter what Tucker Carlson says, given the mysteries surrounding JFK's assassination and Sept. 11, the term "conspiracy theory" eventually loses its stigma, as truth-deprived minds try to fill in the blanks -- even if (as this week's TV fare suggests) it takes 40 years to do so.
from an article at the Geurilla News Network by Maureen Farrell
Unfortunately, I give a fuck. This has contributed mightily to my miserable saddness and despair since the Kennedy coup d'etat. It would be easier to be stupid and rich, to be uncaring and preoccupied with the busy-ness—and the business—of being an American. And I do always prefer the easy way. I suppose I should just move on, accept the lies, swallow the rage and participate actively in my own disenfranchisement; from my government, from truth, and from reality itself. Nah. When I move on, it will be at the end of a rope. This government murdered my president in 1963. This president wasn't elected in 2000, he was installed, and it not only required the manipulation of electronically counted votes, but also the treasonable acts of five US Supreme Court justices. Bush couldn't get elected in a fair election, even if he was the only one running. And this government wants me to respect it as legitimate?! Who are these people who purport to be serving me in high office? Criminals, front-men, and liars. I don't know them. Posted at 09:30 AM

Why is the Department of Defense searching my site for the name 'justin'? Maybe they were looking for Justice, but they don't know how to spell it. The line from my search log: 198.26.118.36;2003-09-25 11:32:04;justin;6;1;0.76;

torturers by proxy
Canadian citizen Maher Arar said he was repeatedly beaten and tortured and kept in a cell three feet wide after the U.S. secretly deported him to Syria. Anonymous officials told the Washington Post that the U.S. knowingly sends suspects abroad to be tortured.

From GNN: And we all keep watching. Whether it's because we find meaning in it. Or because we want to ridicule it, we keep watching. Until it sickens us enough to simply turn it off. But by then, it may already be too late. And we will have missed our chance to create a vocal minority of our own. One that refuses to espouse lies and propaganda, of whatever stripe or pattern. Every day that we spend passively watching, they increase their advantage over us in the battle for the hearts and minds of the people. And in the coming year, that will be the most viciously contested battleground of all.
