blog.  That's where I have been.  In fact there are two; joe (a true story), and I Dissent (ad ridicularium), and I briefly abandoned journal entries to get them started.  Not like I don't have lots of time, but the first blog may actually subsume this journal, and I was not sure whether or not to merge them and if not, how to connect the two.  For over two weeks now it has been enough to just redirect everyone who comes here to there.  But I feel my decision will come down in favor of    j      o    u   r  n al...  continuing as the repository of longer duration ramblings, with a dream of collecting here honest to goodness essays—cohesive, whole and complete.
