It is the end of America.

We will initiate a nuclear exchange in the Middle East within a year. It may look like self defense, or some other kind of 'we had no choice' situation. But we will have caused it. And it is in keeping with the stated objectives of the Neo-con new american centurions.

While we have been preoccupied opposing so-called external threats, and wringing our hands while watching the war crimes of our masters, a great leak has developed beneath our foundations silently draining away all that we have hoped to protect. It's gone. The only thing we have left is war. It has become familiar to us, and even comfortable, especially since all else that was familiar has gone down the drain. Including our friends.

So, we have war, a feeble and artificial patriotism, and our many contentions among each other to hold onto. Nothing much else. There is, of course, shopping...
